How do I create annual recurring lunar events (such as lunar birthdays or memorial anniversaries)?
In vLunar, go to the Events tab, create a personal calendar (customize colors), add a new event, and toggle "Lunisolar Date" with recurring interval set to "Every Year" or "Every Month". You can also customize reminder notifications.
How do I quickly view all events occurring in the currently viewed month?
On the monthly calendar screen, simply press and hold on the month title header to instantly trigger a comprehensive summary list of all lunar and solar events for that month.
How does the new Meteorology & Weather Cluster work?
In the upcoming v2.10.0 release, vLunar introduces an all-new meteorology suite offering sky simulations, atmospheric metrics, and temperature trends seamlessly integrated with traditional solar terms. Enable it in App Settings and grant location access.
How do I set up Countdown Widgets that automatically cycle photos from my diary entries?
Create a journal entry on any date, attach photos or videos, and add a hashtag (e.g. #family, #love, #vacation). When configuring a Countdown Widget, select that hashtag to automatically cycle memories on your home screen.
Why does vLunar display an offset date or show the Buddhist Era year (B.E. 2564)?
This occurs if your device system calendar is set to Buddhist Era instead of Gregorian. To fix this, navigate to iOS Settings -> General -> Language & Region -> Calendar -> and select "Gregorian".
What should I do if widgets do not refresh automatically at midnight?
Operating systems constrain widget background refresh frequency to conserve battery. If a widget appears frozen after an OS update, remove the widget from your home screen, launch the vLunar app once, and re-add the widget.
How do I restore my active subscription on a new device?
Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for purchase, open vLunar Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases".
